I’m a big fan of the rock band Soundgarden. There lead singer, Chris Cornell, has a very dynamic voice. He also happens to be a handsome man with unique features. As with any portrait work I do, the eyes are most important. If I don’t get those right, I don’t get the drawing right. In the case of this subject, I had two very intense, blue eyes on which to focus.
