This week’s ‘Tooning for Tots makes a return to the weird, with the children picking many sci-fi/fantasy creatures. In some cases, they chose characters from existing properties. In others, the kiddos practiced their unique brand of gene-splicing to come up with some more mixed up creatures.
We’ve got an eclectic mix, as always. A monkey-headed dolphin, or a flying monkey — take your pick! Would you prefer Batman from the DC Universe knocking out a criminal, or Spongebob Squarepants saying hello to a young fan? A dragon gets stuffed on munchies. An Avatar creature looks down at us from the trees. Minecraft critters navigate warm terrain. Rounding out our collection, a famed Disney character succumbs to the zombie apocalypse.
The highlight drawings from this batch are the Avatar creature (our featured image of the week), the flying monkey, and Zombie Mickey Mouse. Those three images get the ‘Ted Turner’ treatment of colorization. I’ve provided the black and white images as well.
