‘Tooning for Tots Volume 18: Right Animal, Wrong Place

By October 20, 2014'Tooning for Tots

‘Tooning for Tots returns with more mishmashed creatures, as well as plenty of critters appearing in habitats to which they are not native. The children continue to make creative suggestions, and I follow them. No complaints from any biologists out there!

There is quite a variety in this batch. We’ve got a cheetah and a fishing bear. There is a prowling winged leopard. A penguin tries to reel in a big fish, while a frog prepares to reel in a fly. Spider-man and Ironman from the Marvel Universe make appearances. An adorable squirrel finds a pleasant surprise. Minecraft creatures round out the collection, with a Creeper, wolf, and tiger. The latter two animals don’t exist in the game, but children wanted to know what they might look like in the game if they did.

It was another interesting round of drawings for me. They went pretty quickly. My favorites are probably the squirrel, the frog, and the penguin fishing. The squirrel and frog are the extra colored drawings of the week, joining the penguin featured image. Some of the Minecraft drawings are not as developed as I would like; they have weak background efforts.

Let me know what you think! Check them out below.
